Well here we are, we’ve made it to the final ‘cherry’ to be selected for the Second Cherry Song Contest 2023! This week, the boys tackle the behemoth that is the Swedish Melodifestivalen. Loreen may have taken both the Melfest and Eurovision crown, but in an alternative universe, what else could have been in Liverpool this year?

One of the highlights of the Eurovision national final season is the Sanremo Music Festival, or Festival di Sanremo. And once again the boys take a look at this year’s song selection and pick a cherry that will represent Italy in the Second Cherry Song Contest 2023.

This year saw a very successful Serbian national selection, with Pesma Za Evroviziju offering up all kinds of marvelous entries. We could only have one winner though, so the boys step in and select a cherry from the best of the rest!
